Presentation

Islamochristiana is the annual scientific periodical explicitly dedicated to the Christian-Muslim dialogue. It consists of three parts: the first contains in-depth studies and research, reflection and testimony; the second gives notes and documents concerning meetings between Christians and Muslims in the world and the third presents reviews of books. Founded in 1975 and directed for years by Father Maurice Borrmans the magazine has, over the years, enriched its formula. Some studies revolve around a monographic topic chosen from one year to the next, while others are dedicated to Christian-Muslim dialogue in the past and present. Islamochristiana is written mainly in French, English and Arabic, but occasionally also publishes articles and studies in one or the other Western language.
