Eléments biographiques
Patricia Crone a obtenu son doctorat à l’École des études orientales et africaines (School of Oriental and African Studies) de l’Université de Londres en 1974. Elle enseigna dans plusieurs universités anglaises et américaines : Université de Londres, Université d’Oxford, Université de Cambridge. Depuis 1997, elle travaille à l’Institute for Advanced Study à Princeton.
