Presentation

The Association for Intellectual and Social Studies (Fawaçil) announces the online publication of “Qur’anYet (Journal of Quranic Studies and Paleo-Islam)” through which the association will strive to achieve the following goals:

- Working to create a scientific platform in the Arabo-Islamic area in order to approach Quranic studies and Paleo-Muslim issues according to the scientific and methodological principles generally recognized in the historical sciences.

- Building a fruitful dialogue between scholars of different orientations in order to “Think Together” about the questions related to the Qur„anic phenomenon and Paleo-Islam.

- Drawing attention to the possible intersections between the methods and approaches through which the Qur’an and its constructive environment are studied.
In order to achieve these general goals, the journal is concerned with four forms of work, all of which are subject to scientific review:

  • Articles.
  • Translations from and into Arabic, French, English and German.
  • Book reviews and other discussions.
  • Reviews of the latest publications in the field of Qur’anic studies and Paleo-Islam.
